Civil War Artillery Lapel Pin
Gold metal souvenir lapel pin featuring the Civil War Artillery insignia of the crossed cannons. Military clasp, pin measures 7/8 inches across.
The crossed cannons insignia was adopted in 1836. Enlisted men were authorized to wear the insignia in 1858 with the Union Army company letter and regimental number placed over the cannons.
