Civil War Confederate Cent
Authentic reproduction of the Civil War Confederate Cent. These coins were never issued. This is replica is of a re-strike produced by Captain John Haseltine who purchased the original dies. Includes a brief history of the coin.
Struck on both sides, the coin is cast in a lead-free pewter alloy which resembles the weight and feel of the original. The coin is electroplated in copper, antiqued and hand-burnished to faithfully duplicate the rich appearance of the old coin. Packaged in a hard plastic sleeve to protect the coin (it can be easily removed from the sleeve.)
