Authentic reproduction coins of 1776 and the American Revolution era. Set includes 5 different coins and a brief history:

• Continental Dollar of 1776
• Massachusetts Pine Tree Copper of 1776
• Spanish Bust Peso of 1776
• Two Bits or 1/4 of the Spanish Piece of Eight
• New Hampshire Halfpenny of 1776

Struck on both sides, the coins are cast in a lead-free pewter alloy which resembles the weight and feel of the originals. The coins are electroplated in copper or nickel, antiqued and hand-burnished to faithfully duplicate the rich appearance of the old coins. Packaged in a hard plastic sleeve to protect the coins (they can be removed from the sleeve.)
