Struck on both sides, the coin is cast in a pewter alloy which resembles the weight and feel of the original. The coin is electroplated in nickel, antiqued and hand-burnished to faithfully duplicate the rich appearance of the old coin. Packaged in a hard plastic sleeve to protect the coin (it can be easily removed from the sleeve.)
