Named after Colonel Christopher Gadsden of South Carolina, the flag was originally flown by Commodore Esek Hopkins of Rhode Island, first Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Navy in 1776, as a stern warning to the British from the Colonists.
Size is 3 x 5 foot. Printed on lightweight polyester with two grommets for hanging. Shows the Don't Treat on Me inscription.
