In 1775, the snake symbol appeared in the Colonies on uniform buttons, paper money, banners and flags shown as an American timber rattlesnake. The snake found its way into early American culture as a symbol of a shared national identity.
Iron-on patch is bright yellow cloth with black, red and green stitching. Shows the Don't Treat on Me inscription. Patch measures 2 1/4 X 3 1/2 inches.
