The costume is slightly different than how it looks on-line. Why?
Costume fabric material, color, and styles are subject to change without notice due to the manufacturers' production (these changes are not considered defects.) We usually discover the changes immediately and make note of any changes or discrepancies to the costumes on the product detail page. If you are not pleased with your purchase, you can return it for a refund or exchange.
How are exchanges handled?
Exchanges can be made if the product you purchased doesn't fit or is defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, you must place a new, separate order for the replacement item. A refund for the returned item(s) will be issued promptly after your merchandise has been received and inspected. Items that are returned in un-sellable condition or appear to be used will be returned to you.
How do I initiate a return or exchange?
First, place your order for the new item. Then, give us a call at 1-860-436-3170 or send us an email to let us know that you are returning an item. Tell us your name, invoice number, which items and how many you are returning, and the reason for the return. We will provide you with instructions on how to send the items back to us. Sending the item(s) back without notifying us first will delay your refund.
How do refunds work?
Refunds for returned items are for the cost of the merchandise only less a 15% re-stocking fee. Your shipping is not refundable.
There is no handling charge for exchanges, however, a 15% re-stocking fee applies to all returned items.
Refunds
Once we have received and processed the returned shipment, you can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return.
Packing and Shipping Your Return:
Please carefully re-package and wrap the items you are returning securely using the original shipping box, if possible, and return with a delivery confirmation so that you have record that your item was returned to our shop. For fragile or breakable items and for your own protection, we recommend that you insure the package for its return trip to the Museum Shop. Please include a copy of your original invoice so we know who to credit!
