Shipping Costs and Policies

We are located in Manchester, Connecticut. We ship every business day humanly possible, Monday through Friday, excluding weekends, major holidays and when the shop is closed.


How do you ship?

We ship by US Postal Service Priority Mail for all orders. We do not use FedEx. We do use Priority Mail to ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and APO/FPO addresses only. Back to Top

What are your shipping charges?

Shipping cost is based on the total of your order. Priority Mail shipping cost varies by state. A couple of our products incur additional shipping costs which will be added to your order. Those items are marked as such on their product pages. If additional shipping charges are required, we will contact you before processing your order.

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be billed at the actual shipping cost, For those states, Priority Mail is the recommended shipping method.

How soon will you ship my order?

Most orders received prior to 1:00 pm Eastern Time are shipped the same day excluding weekends, holidays and when the store is closed. A large order or bulk shipment may take extra time - we'll let you know the lead time, if applicable. If you need to receive something extremely quickly, we do offer expedited services through UPS.

Orders received after 1:00 pm generally ship the next business day. Back to Top

When will I receive my order?

US Postal Service Priority Mail -->A reliable service from the post office that takes 2 to 4 days, on average, to reach any destination in the United States. There is no tracking available for Priority Mail, but all packages are shipped with a Delivery Confirmation number issued by the post office. We ship Priority Mail every week day and is generally a great deal for lower priced orders.

UPS Ground and Expedited Services --> Provides online tracking 24 hours a day and guaranteed delivery dates on their expedited shipping options. Tracking numbers are available for all packages and can be emailed to you. UPS delivers Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays for an additional $15 fee. They cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Shipping Time Table for UPS Ground Shipping

This map is based on shipping via UPS Ground Service from our location in Connecticut. You can determine how many days your package will take from our location to yours. UPS does not count Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays as delivery traveling days. UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box.

I need expedited shipping!



Requests for expedited shipping, same day, can be filled if your completed order is received by Noon Eastern Time. Because of the cost of fuel these days, overnight shipping is really expensive; 2nd Day shipping is about half the price of overnight shipping. If you are in the Northeast, regular UPS Ground will get your order to you in a day or two.

Do you ship outside the United States?

At this time, we only ship to the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and APO, FPO, AE and military addresses.

Please be sure to provide accurate and valid shipping and contact information so that your order will be delivered to the proper address. For the protection of your package, the safety of your delivery address is your responsibility.

Duties, Taxes, and Customs Fees: We are required by law to post the actual value of the merchandise ordered on approved customs forms. The Liberty Bell Museum, LLC, is not responsible for any duties, fees or taxes imposed by your country. Please contact your local postal office or customs department for more information.

What are your store hours?

Warehouse Hours:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm EST.
Saturday - closed on many Saturdays for Living History events throughout the year, but please give us a try.
Sunday - closed.
You can order on-line anytime!

The gift shop does not have a retail location.

What circumstances would delay my order from being shipped immediately?

The following situations may delay your order.

  • Incorrect or incomplete address information. We validate all domestic shipping addresses to the best of our abilities. Examples of incorrect information include missing apartment or suite numbers, incorrect zip codes, missing floor or building number (if applicable), incorrectly spelled or incomplete street name. We need an actual street address for every order (especially for colleges and universities.
  • Incorrect billing address or payment information. All orders are reviewed prior to processing and we do everything possible to catch errors before an order is shipped. Please ensure that you enter the correct information on your order. If there is a problem, we will call you at the day time phone number you've provided.
  • Christmas and Halloween! These are our busiest holiday seasons so place your order early, if possible. We will post notices regarding any shipping delays for the holidays.
  • Items are out of stock. Several people may be shopping in the on-line store at the same time. Orders are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If your order makes it through our system and the item(s) you want are out of stock, we will contact you right away.
