We ship by UPS Ground and US Postal Service Priority Mail for all orders. We do not use FedEx. We do use Priority Mail to ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and APO/FPO addresses only. Back to Top |
What are your shipping charges? Shipping cost is based on the total of your order. See the UPS Domestic Shipping Charges table below. Priority Mail shipping cost varies by state. A couple of our products incur additional shipping costs which will be added to your order. Those items are marked as such on their product pages. If additional shipping charges are required, we will contact you before processing your order. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be billed at the actual shipping cost, if going by UPS Ground (it's a whole lot more expensive, unfortunately.) For those states, Priority Mail is the recommended shipping method. Canadian orders will also be billed at the actual shipping cost as domestic rates do not apply. |

How soon will you ship my order? Most orders received prior to 1:00 pm Eastern Time are shipped the same day excluding weekends, holidays and when the store is closed. A large order or bulk shipment may take extra time - we'll let you know the lead time, if applicable. If you need to receive something extremely quickly, we do offer expedited services through UPS. US Postal Service Priority Mail -->A reliable service from the post office that takes 2 to 4 days, on average, to reach any destination in the United States. There is no tracking available for Priority Mail, but all packages are shipped with a Delivery Confirmation number issued by the post office. We ship Priority Mail every week day and is generally a great deal for lower priced orders. UPS Ground and Expedited Services --> Provides online tracking 24 hours a day and guaranteed delivery dates on their expedited shipping options. Tracking numbers are available for all packages and can be emailed to you. UPS delivers Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays for an additional $15 fee. They cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

You can determine how many days your package will take from our location to yours. UPS does not count Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays as delivery traveling days. UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box. |

Expedited shipping methods are available especially if you need your order quickly. We can ship by UPS Next Day, 2-Day Air or 3-Day Select. If you require expedited shipping, please call the Museum gift shop to make arrangements at 860-289-3832 or fax your order to us on the Printable Order Form. Requests for expedited shipping, same day, can be filled if your completed order is received by Noon Eastern Time. Because of the cost of fuel these days, overnight shipping is really expensive; 2nd Day shipping is about half the price of overnight shipping. If you are in the Northeast, regular UPS Ground will get your order to you in a day or two. |
Do you ship outside the United States? At this time, we only ship to the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Canada and APO, FPO, AE and military addresses. Please be sure to provide accurate and valid shipping and contact information so that your order will be delivered to the proper address. For the protection of your package, the safety of your delivery address is your responsibility. Canadian customers please FAX your order using our printable fax order form or give us a call to place your order by telephone. Duties, Taxes, and Customs Fees: Orders for shipments to Canada may be subject to certain fees such as taxes, customs duties or other import fees imposed by the destination country. We are required by law to post the actual value of the merchandise ordered on approved customs forms.
