One of the earliest and most successful of Benjamin Franklin's printing projects was the publication of Poor Richard's Almanack which he wrote using the pen name, Richard Saunders. Especially popular were the sayings that Franklin used as filler material. Sayings such as, "Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise" and "God helps them that help themselves".
Because of their popularity, Franklin issued The Way to Wealth in 1757 bringing together all the sayings of Poor Richard in a single volume.
This edition is a complete reproduction of The Way to Wealth as issued in 1790 by the noted patriot and printer, Isaiah Thomas. Paperback, 21 pages, 4 1/2 x 8 inches, stapled binding.
