Handcrafted tin pennywhistle made in the traditional conical design, 12 inches long with lead-free solder seam and wood plug. Key of D. Packaged in a poly bag with an insert of history and a finger chart/tune sheet.
This six-holed whistle (the "penny whistle") is closely related to the recorder in the flute family of musical instruments. Today, penny whistles are especially popular for Celtic music. The novice can play a familiar tune within minutes, while a more experienced player can make the whistle sing out jigs and reels with the slurs and turns of a professional.
