George Turnbull, Esq. was the Captain of His Majesty's 60th at Fort Michilimackinac (in present day state of Michigan.) In 1769, Turnbull issued a Proclamation ordering that a company of militia be raised against British enemies in North America. This reproduction of Turnbull's Proclamation is accurate and complete.
